O presidente da Câmara de Ilhéus, Paulo Carqueija, foi vítima de um grave acidente no último domingo (24) na rodovia que liga Coaraci a Itajuípe. O acidente aconteceu enquanto o vereador retornava de compromissos políticos no distrito de Inema. O carro em que ele estava saiu da pista e caiu em uma ribanceira após o motorista, Fábio Oliveira, perder o controle em uma curva com óleo na pista.
No veículo também estava o ex-vereador Valmir de Inema, que acompanhava Carqueija na viagem. Apesar da gravidade do acidente e da destruição total do carro, Carqueija e Valmir sofreram apenas ferimentos leves. Já o motorista Fábio teve um corte na cabeça, recebeu atendimento médico no Hospital Costa do Cacau, e foi liberado ainda no mesmo dia após exames.
Em nota publicada nas redes sociais, Paulo Carqueija expressou alívio e gratidão pelo livramento. “Agradeço a Deus por ter saído ileso. Foi um verdadeiro milagre”, afirmou o vereador, tranquilizando seus seguidores sobre seu estado de saúde.
Prefeitura de Ilhéus combate Fake News e esclarece situação de pagamentos ao Centro de Assistência Renal
A Prefeitura Municipal de Ilhéus, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, vem a público esclarecer as informações divulgadas pelo Centro de Assistência Renal sobre um suposto atraso de mais de 1 milhão de reais em repasses de recursos destinados ao funcionamento da unidade.
Em primeiro lugar, é necessário pontuar que o argumento apresentado não condiz com a realidade, considerando os repasses realizados até o momento. O Fundo Nacional de Saúde efetuou o pagamento referente à competência de setembro no dia 04/11/2024, enquanto o Fundo Estadual repassou os valores de agosto no dia 29/10/2024.
Atualmente, as notas fiscais em aberto somam um total de R$ 192.872,36, referentes às seguintes competências:
• Cofinanciamento Estadual – Competência Julho: R$ 101.339,16 (repassado ao município em 24/09);
• Cofinanciamento Estadual – Competência Agosto: R$ 83.105,82 (repassado ao município em 29/10);
• Laboratório (Ente Federal) – Competência Agosto: R$ 4.181,20;
• Laboratório (Ente Federal) – Competência Setembro: R$ 350,00;
• Consulta (Ente Federal) – Competência Setembro: R$ 3.896,18;
• FAEC (Ente Federal) – Competência Setembro: R$ 749.292,97 (repassado ao município em 04/11).
Dessa forma, não procede a afirmação de que a dívida ultrapassa o montante de 1 milhão de reais.
A Prefeitura reitera que a gestão dos recursos públicos segue rigorosamente o princípio do equilíbrio orçamentário, conforme determina a Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias. Os repasses são realizados conforme a disponibilidade financeira e o cronograma de transferências por parte dos entes federais e estaduais.
Reconhecemos a relevância dos serviços prestados pelo Centro de Assistência Renal e reafirmamos o compromisso da administração municipal em garantir a continuidade do atendimento de qualidade aos pacientes renais de Ilhéus.
Estamos à disposição para diálogo e reforçamos o empenho para solucionar a questão dentro das possibilidades legais e financeiras do município.

TCM-BA Aprova Contas da Prefeitura de Itabuna Relativas a 2022 Sob a Gestão de Augusto Castro

Na manhã desta quinta-feira (21), o Tribunal de Contas do Estado da Bahia (TCM-BA) aprovou, durante sua 75ª sessão ordinária, as contas da Prefeitura de Itabuna referentes ao exercício de 2022. O parecer favorável foi apresentado pelo conselheiro **Mário Negromonte**, consolidando mais um marco positivo para a administração do prefeito **Augusto Castro (PSD)**.
Durante o segundo ano de sua gestão, a Prefeitura enfrentou desafios significativos, como os impactos da pandemia da Covid-19 e as consequências das enchentes de dezembro de 2021. Em resposta, foi instituído um Auxílio Emergencial no valor de R$ 3 mil, que beneficiou mais de 3,5 mil famílias que perderam tudo devido à tragédia. Além disso, a gestão ainda mantém o aluguel social de R$ 500 para as famílias que permanecem em situação de vulnerabilidade.
Outro ponto destacado foi o cumprimento e superação dos percentuais mínimos exigidos por lei nas áreas de Educação e Saúde, bem como o saneamento das contas públicas. Esses esforços resultaram na elevação da Capacidade de Pagamento (Capag) da Prefeitura ao nível B, conforme avaliação da Secretaria do Tesouro Nacional (STN).
Essa é a segunda aprovação consecutiva das contas da gestão de Augusto Castro pelo TCM-BA. Em março do ano passado, as contas de 2021 também foram aprovadas por unanimidade, com parecer favorável da procuradora-chefe do Ministério Público de Contas, doutora Aline Paim Monteiro Rio Branco.
A aprovação reflete o compromisso da administração municipal em manter a transparência e a responsabilidade fiscal, mesmo diante de adversidades. A gestão de Augusto Castro segue focada em superar desafios e garantir melhorias para a população de Itabuna.

Os dois mandados de busca e apreensão foram cumpridos em uma residência no bairro Alto da Vitória, onde foram encontradas as drogas escondidas em três tonéis enterrados em um canteiro de plantas.
No local, um suspeito foi preso em flagrante, apontado como integrante de facção criminosa. Ele seria o responsável pelo armazenamento, distribuição e contabilização do lucro obtido com o tráfico, em um esquema que a polícia classifica como fornecimento “indoor” da droga.
