Desembargador suspende cassação e mantém mandatos de Neto da Saúde e Odailson Pequeno em Ilhéus

O desembargador Danilo Costa Luz, atendendo a um pedido do Partido da Mulher Brasileira (PMB), concedeu uma liminar que suspende a decisão do juiz Gustavo Henrique Almeida Lyra, da 25ª Zona Eleitoral, que havia determinado a cassação dos mandatos dos vereadores Neto da Saúde (PMB) e Odailson Aranha (PODEMOS). A medida permanecerá válida até o julgamento definitivo do mandado de segurança ou até o trânsito em julgado da Ação de Investigação Judicial Eleitoral (AIJE) relacionada ao caso.
Na determinação, o desembargador ordenou a notificação da autoridade responsável pela decisão cassatória, concedendo um prazo de 10 dias para apresentação de informações. O investigante citado na AIJE nº 0600119-47.2024.6.05.0025 também poderá se manifestar dentro do mesmo período, caso tenha interesse. As comunicações serão realizadas por carta de ordem e cumpridas por um oficial de justiça designado pela instância eleitoral competente.
Anteriormente, a decisão do juiz Gustavo Henrique Almeida Lyra previa a recontagem de votos, impactando a composição da Câmara Municipal e alterando o mandato do vereador Nerival (PSD). Com a nova distribuição, seriam diplomados Cláudio Magalhães (PCdoB), Fabrício Nascimento (Avante) e Lau Sabino (PT), cuja posse estava programada para esta terça-feira (18).
No entanto, com a liminar concedida pelo Tribunal Regional Eleitoral da Bahia (TRE-BA), Neto da Saúde e Odailson Aranha reassumem suas cadeiras na Câmara até o julgamento do mérito do caso. O Ministério Público Eleitoral (MPE) também terá 10 dias para se manifestar após a apresentação das informações e defesa, conforme prevê o artigo 115 do Regimento Interno do TRE-BA.

Na manhã desta segunda-feira (17), a Polícia Militar o professor Aderson Marcelo Borges Ferreira, conhecido como professor Marcelo da Atraduc, durante um protesto no Centro de Ilhéus. A manifestação reivindicava melhorias no transporte público da cidade e contou com a participação de moradores da zona rural, insatisfeitos com os serviços prestados pelas empresas de ônibus.
Vídeos que circulam nas redes sociais registraram o momento da prisão. Nas imagens, o professor de Filosofia aparece sendo segurado por um policial militar, que o puxa pela gola da camisa. Antes de ser conduzido à Delegacia de Ilhéus, o educador gritou: “Todo mundo viu que estão me levando porque eu estava filmando.” O caso gerou grande repercussão na internet, levantando questionamentos sobre os motivos da detenção.
A manifestação desta segunda-feira refletiu o descontentamento da população com as empresas responsáveis pelo transporte coletivo e reforçou a necessidade de melhorias urgentes no setor. Ilhéus paga R$ 1,2 milhão em RPVs e evita novos bloqueios nas contas públicas

A Prefeitura de Ilhéus efetuou o pagamento de aproximadamente R$ 1,2 milhão referente às Requisições de Pequeno Valor (RPVs) vencidas da Justiça do Trabalho, no último dia 10 de março. O montante foi acumulado por atrasos da gestão anterior e resultava em bloqueios frequentes nas contas municipais, comprometendo as finanças da cidade.
De acordo com a Procuradoria-Geral do Município e a Secretaria de Fazenda e Orçamento, a Justiça do Trabalho realizava bloqueios praticamente diários nas contas públicas devido à inadimplência da administração passada. Além disso, a falta de pagamento dos RPVs gerava acréscimos de juros e correção, agravando ainda mais a situação financeira do município.
A atual gestão tem priorizado a regularização dessas dívidas, garantindo que os RPVs sejam pagos em dia, com planejamento, evitando prejuízos adicionais. Com a ação, a administração reforça seu compromisso com a transparência e a responsabilidade financeira, em busca do equilíbrio das contas públicas e do desenvolvimento de Ilhéus.
Secretaria de Cultura e Conselho de Cultura de Ilhéus dialogam sobre a Aldir Blanc 2 nesta terça, 18

O município de Ilhéus se mobiliza para garantir a execução da Política Nacional Aldir Blanc 2 (PNAB). Nesta terça-feira (18), a Secretaria Municipal de Cultura (SeCult) e o Conselho Municipal de Cultura (CMC) promovem uma Assembleia Geral Extraordinária para divulgar os próximos passos da aplicação dos recursos da PNAB. O encontro será às 18h, no auditório da sede da Prefeitura de Ilhéus, localizada na Avenida Brasil, bairro Conquista.
A assembleia tem o objetivo de apresentar uma atualização dos valores disponíveis e divulgar o cronograma de execução da lei. Municípios, Estados e o Distrito Federal têm até o dia 30 de junho deste ano para utilizar os recursos. Vale lembrar que, ao final de 2024, Ilhéus foi obrigada a devolver aproximadamente R$ 1,6 milhão da Lei Paulo Gustavo por não concluir o processo dentro do prazo. A situação só não se repetiu com a Aldir Blanc 2 porque a equipe da SeCult não mediu esforços para avançar com o processo.
“Para a atual gestão municipal, evitar a devolução desses recursos é um compromisso com a cultura de Ilhéus em sua diversidade, seja na Sede ou em seus dez Distritos”, declara a Secretária de Cultura Anarleide Menezes.
“O prazo que temos é muito curto. O ideal seria que o processo de execução da PNAB já tivesse sido, ao menos, iniciado pela gestão passada, permitindo que apenas déssemos continuidade. Porém, foram inúmeras as adversidades encontradas pela equipe para prosseguir e garantir os próximos repasses”, completa a Secretária, que destaca ainda o esforço conjunto da gestão:
“O apoio do Prefeito Valderico Junior e da Vice-prefeita Wanessa Gedeon foram fundamentais para a promoção do diálogo com as outras Secretarias Municipais envolvidas na distribuição do recurso de forma ágil e transparente”, concluiu.
Academia de Letras de Ilhéus empossa Professor Josevandro Nascimento como Presidente

Na sexta-feira (14), a Academia de Letras de Ilhéus (ALI) abriu oficialmente seu ano acadêmico em uma solenidade especial. O evento ocorreu às 19h, no auditório da instituição.
A cerimônia contou com a presença do escritor e professor Aleilton Fonseca, presidente da Academia de Letras da Bahia (ALB), que fez uma exortação ao poeta Castro Alves, um dos principais nomes da literatura brasileira e símbolo da luta contra a escravidão.
Estiveram presentes também a Vice-Prefeita de Ilhéus, Wanessa Gedeon, a Secretária de Cultura, Anarleide Menezes, a Superintendente de Comunicação, Naianne Ministro, e o Corregedor-Geral do Município, Paulo Landi, além de outras autoridades regionais.
Durante a cerimônia, o então presidente da ALI, Pawlo Cidade, empossou a nova diretoria para o biênio 2025-2026. O acadêmico, professor e advogado Josevandro Raymundo Ferreira Nascimento assumiu a presidência. Mestre em Direito Público e professor aposentado da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (Uesc), ele também foi fundador do curso de Direito da Faculdade Madre Thaís (FMT) e integra diversas academias literárias, ocupando a Cadeira nº 14 na ALI.
A nova diretoria, eleita sob a chapa “Cultura em Movimento”, passou a ser composta por Luh Oliveira (vice-presidente), Maria Schaun (secretária-geral), Jane Hilda Badaró (1ª secretária), Maria Luiza Nora de Andrade (2ª secretária), Maria Luiza Heine (1ª tesoureira), Vercil Rodrigues (2º tesoureiro), Fabrício Brandão (diretor da revista) e Pawlo Cidade (diretor da biblioteca). A Comissão de Contas ficou sob responsabilidade de Ruy do Carmo Póvoas, Efson Lima e Ramayana Vargens.
Fundada em 14 de março de 1959, a Academia de Letras de Ilhéus é reconhecida como um dos mais importantes espaços de promoção da literatura e da cultura no sul da Bahia. Conhecida como a “Casa de Abel”, em homenagem ao escritor Abel Pereira, a instituição mantém um compromisso contínuo com a valorização dos escritores regionais e a difusão do conhecimento.
A abertura do ano acadêmico e a posse da nova diretoria reforçaram essa tradição, reafirmando a importância da ALI como um centro de referência cultural e intelectual na Bahia.
